Houdini died of a ruptured appendix 1926 but during his tricks he was many many times very close to death esp. performing his water torture cell or buried alive tricks mostly running out of air and nealy suffocating. He was one of the world best. Frankly I doubt she is as good as he was ... drowning inevitable ...
